For many insureds the belief is as long as I have no claims or tickets the insurance rates stay the same, right? We all know differently that each year carriers re‐rate the insureds. Insurance is one of the only industries that has variables each term so understanding how to explain rate increases to clients is a skill that every insurance agent needs. We need to provide a framework for our agents on how to approach rate.
