For many insureds, the belief is that as long as they have no claims or tickets, their insurance rates will stay the same, right? We all know differently that each year carriers re-rate the insureds. Insurance is one of the only industries that has variables each term, so understanding how to explain rate increases to clients is a skill that every insurance agent needs. We need to provide a framework for our agents on how to approach rates.
